Most travelers to Vietnam are attracted by the country’s wonderful natural beauty: From the fascinating bustle of the Mekong Delta in the south to the magnificent islands of the Halong Bay in the North. Vietnam however is also a country with a long history and ancient traditions. It has many historic attractions and old temples. This is an overview of the amazing tourist attractions in Vietnam:
Start your full day city tour in Ho Chi Minh City, commonly known as Saigon – the business and financial hub of Vietnam, comprising the Reunification Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon General Post Office, the War Museum.
After lunch, continue to visit Fito Museum – the traditional Vietnamese medicine and pharmacy where more than 3,000 items of traditional pharmacy dating back to the Stone Age being displayed. To finish the day, you will continue to spend some free time at Ben Thanh Market – the large marketplace in central liveliest areas.
In the evening, you will be starting your night tour on the back of vintage vespa scooter like local people, to explore Saigon by night and try plenty of street foods along the way.
Departure toward Ben Tre and board on a boat trip from Hung Vuong Pier to discover real life and enjoy scenery in country. Visit candy and manual coconut processing workshop (a traditional work of local people). Get into Ben Tre large river, stop at few last existing brick kilns in the southern to see how to make brick by hand.
After lunch, ride bicycle or take motor cart “xe lôi” on shady paths passing by rice fields and vegetable plains to visit wine rice making place, broom making and an ancient ceramic collector.
Transfer back to lodgement and have dinner.
Morning departure to discover a local factory of pop-cake and coconut basket, follow by a visit to local markets.
After lunch, head the road to Can Tho and stop to visit a Khmer temple - Wat Munir Ansay.
Late in the afternoon, visit Bang Lang Stork Sanctuary where home to various kinds of stork.
Transfer to hotel and free time in the evening. Overnight in Can Tho.
Boat trip to travel Cai Rang floating market, visit a factory at the edge of small canal in the region that makes “Hu tieu” (rice vermicelli) and taste the very special Hu Tieu pizza.
Return to Ho Chi Minh city, on the way to stop at the lacquer ware factory to learn about the process of making lacquer products. Night at the hotel.
Morning flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, head to Ba Na hill, located 1500m above sea level where you can feel 4 seasons within a day.
Enjoy the stunning views of the beautiful landscape while taking a ride to the top of Ba Na Mountain, visit Linh Ung Pagoda, gardens and enjoy uninterrupted views of Truong Son Mountains from Golden Bridge. Transfer to hotel and overnight in Da Nang.
Hoi An is an ancient charming town which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. Start the morning day visit to the Old Town comprising Phuoc Kien Pagoda, Tan Ky Old House, Japanese Covered Bridge.
In the afternoon, take a boat trip until reaching Thanh Ha pottery village where you can learn and experience the daily life of Thanh Ha people. Observe all the steps of making a pottery product: vase, pot, kettle, cooking pot,... continue to embark on the boat to visit Kim Bong carpentry village, listen to the history of the village, come to visit the ship-building yards, see the handicrafts and sculptures. Transfer back to hotel in Da Nang at the end of the day.
After breakfast, depart for Hue. Visit tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh where you can observe a harmony combination between western culture and architecture with traces of oriental architecture that are visible around the construction. Lunch in a pagoda where you can enjoy special vegetarian dishes prepared by nuns. Visit Tu Duc tomb, conical hat and incense making village. Transfer to hotel for check in. In the evening, dressed up in royal costumed and attend to royal dinner ceremony. (min. 8 pax)
After breakfast, visit Imperial Citadel – the place holds hundreds of beautiful constructional works divided many sectors, including palaces and gardens, place for setting up grand ceremonies, worship shrine as well as internal affair office where precious objects were stored and various articles were manufactured.
In the afternoon, visit Thien Mu pagoda, a well-known sacred and religious site in the city of Hue. Continue to visit An Hien garden – a typical example of garden house, where you can witness both noble quintessence and traditional folk colors intertwines each other. You can have a chance to listen to traditional Hue music (09:00-10:15 / 15:00-16:15)
Board a boat trip along Perfume River and enjoy the sunset and romantic view along the banks of the river. In the evening, transfer for dinner and overnight at hotel in Hue.
Morning departure flight to Ha Noi. Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport, transfer to visit the capital of Vietnam including Ethnology Museum where you can take an insight view into the ways of life of 54 different ethnic groups of Vietnam. Continue to visit the Temple of Literature which is considered as the first university of Vietnam that trained thousands of elites for the country.
At the end of the day, transfer for water puppet show before dinner.
Drive to Ha Long through the beautiful scene of the Red River Delta. Embark on a junk to start an amazing cruise trip in Ha Long Bay. Lunch will be served on board. In the afternoon, take an excursion trip on row boat to visit fishing village where the locals still carry out a lot of activities and work tasks such as fishing, net weaving, and pearl processing.
Dinner and overnight on board.
Waking up at the first appearance light of sunshine and start a remarkable morning on the midst of the bay with Taichi exercise and enjoy your breakfast. Continue to visit the magnificent caves of Ha Long before having brunch on board.
Disembark and head back to Ha Noi, stop at Dong Trieu village to learn more about the steps of ceramic manufacturing. Arrive in Ha Noi and spend the night at the hotel.
Depart for Ninh Binh, offers a world of natural wonders and cultural heritage to explore. Stop at Hoa Lu visit temples of King Dinh Tien Hoang and King Le Dai Hanh in Hoa Lu.
Take a boat trip on Ngo Dong river to explore the Tam Coc “Three caves”, passing by a breath-taking view of limestone mountains and rice paddies. You will be cruising through the caves that have been created by wind and water from a legend time, while the sea had occupied this area.
Continue to visit Bich Dong “Green Pearl Grotto”, a charming cluster of caves temples with magnificent scenery of mountains, waterways, fields, and sky covered in green mist.
Drive back to Ha Noi at the end of the day. Overnight in Ha Noi.
