Ho Chi Minh City, also called as Saigon until 1975, the largest commercial city of Vietnam. First discover the lively and dynamic city by visiting the Central Post Office, designed by Gustave Eiffel with a distinctive style of architecture. Then visit the Reunification Palace, known as the Independence Palace, “Ngoc Hoang” Temple (the Emperor of Jade). Enjoy lunch then stroll through the book street and Ben Thanh market. Night at the hotel.
Option: Discover the city at night on the back of vespa – a common vehicle which is used largely by Vietnamese and spend the night to
explore the art of delicious street food places where not known to many tourists but only local.
Depart for Cai Be. Stop at the Cao Dai Temple, a syncretic religion that official founded in 1926 that currently have over two million followers. Arrive in Cai Be, boarding to visit a factory of coconut toffees. Stop at an island to enter an orchard with exotic fruits and listen to the music of “Tai Tu” – a local special show. Have lunch.
In the afternoon, continue by bus to Can Tho, the largest city on the Mekong Delta. Installation at the hotel and discover the city at your pace. Overnight at hotel.
Early departure for the famous floating market of Cai Rang - where shops and stalls are on different sizes boats. Afterward, back to the pier and drive to Sa Dec – a small town on the banks of the Mekong, where the famous movie “The Lover” has was featured.
Visit the Lover’s house, the colorful market and the primary school which were appeared in the movie. Head back to Saigon. Spend the night at the hotel
Transfer to the airport, fly to Da Nang. Upon arrival, continue to travel by bus to Hoi An, a city of historical, architectural and sensory values. Walk the streets of Hoi An, climb the Japanese bridge, which is the most photographed monument in the city. Visit the famous Old House of the city and a Chinese congregation, stroll by the river, wander through the small colorful market of the city. Have a taste of “Cao Lau” – Hoi An’s local specialty.
In the afternoon, discover the art of crafts such as lanterns and silk mills. Take a boat trip on the Thu Bon River, the ideal chance to experience one of the most romantic sunsets. overnight at hotel.
Travel to the Vegetable Village of Tra Que by bike, “Tra Que” is a charming little village and join the local with agricultural and gardening activities, participate in a short cooking class.
Try out your own dish cooked from the class at lunch and other local specialty such as Spring Rolls, Tam Huu – an assortment of shrimps, pork and herbs, and Banh Xeo – a traditional crepe that is a signature dish from the Center of Vietnam. Overnight at hotel.
Head to Hue, enjoy vegetarian lunch in a pagoda. Visit the tomb of Emperor Tu Duc. Stop at incense and conical hats making place. In the afternoon, take a boat trip along the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda. Enjoy a Royal Dinner with royal costumes that is similar to the royalty back in the imperial era. There will be a signature musical show during dinner time. Each dish in the menu is the subject of a sophisticated presentation of a mythical animals in Asian culture.
Note: This royal costume dinner is held for group of minimum 8 persons. With less than 8 people, dinner will be organized at a local restaurant with a royal menu but without full ceremony (music or royal costumes).
Breakfast then head to discover Ninh Binh, also known as “Ha Long Bay on land”. Take a traditional boat trip into the middle of green paddy fields and rocky peaks to enjoy the natural scene. At lunch, have a taste of goat skewers – a signature dish from Ninh Binh and “Com Chay” (Rice Gratin).
In the afternoon, take a bicycle ride to explore the beautiful scenery of this peaceful countryside. Visit Dinh Le temple and overnight at hotel.
Depart for Ha Long Bay, a natural wonder of Vietnam. Ha Long Bay is dotted with more than 3,000 islands and islets of all sizes with various silhouettes. Sailing in the bay and enjoy lunch on board with delicious seafood.
Explore the inside of Ha Long Bay’s enormous caves. Dinner and overnight on board.
Visit Ba Dinh square with Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh Stilt House and the Temple of Literature which was built in the 11th century and is Vietnam first’s university. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, discover Hanoi’s special cuisine such as Banh Tom (Shrimp Fritters), Pho (Beef or Chicken soup), Banh Cuon (Pork and Black Mushroom Ravioli), Bun Cha (Grilled Pork Mince with Rice Vermicelli) and Che (Sweet Soup). Return and overnight at the hotel.
