Overview

Aside from over 3,000 km of soft sands and clear waters, Vietnam also has plenty of secluded coves and islets fit for snorkelling, island-hopping and scuba diving. With this advantage, this trip is created as an ideal choice for beachgoers with Nha Trang, known for its spectacular turquoise-coloured waters and a high-energy vibe that attracts visitors, especially backpackers from all over the world. And in particular, Quy Nhon has long coastal beaches that’s cover by mountain range. The beaches have the blue emerald water and yellow sands around the half of Quy Nhon city. The combination of tranquil atmosphere and breathtaking views of these beaches are well worth the effort.

  • Visit Da Dia Cliffs, structured with a surprising geology, including bountiful rocks in disparate shapes: circular, pentagonal, hexagonal or other polygonal looks.
  • See Banh It Tower, a very picturesque complex on a prominent hill between two branches of the river "Con". 
  • Enjoy Ky Co Beach. Nestled in a secluded bay, the beach is surrounded by verdant mountains while its pristine waters and soft sands are perfect for sunbathing and swimming. 
  • Discover Ma May Ancient House which was built at the late of the Twentieth century, is quite intact with typical architecture of ancient houses on Hanoi street.

Itinerary

Welcome by your tour guide and transfer to hotel for refreshment. 

In the afternoon, experience the excitement of modern-day Ho Chi Minh City riding pillion on vintage vespa. The adventurous mix of historic landmarks and hidden treasures that allows you to get off the crowded tourist trail and soak up the local culture. 

Return to hotel late in the afternoon and enjoy free time in the evening for your personal discovery of the city. 

Morning transfer to Sai Gon pier to take a 1.5-hour long speedboat tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels - a fascinating underground network that was a key part of the Viet Cong defense during the Vietnam War.

Go underground with your guide in Cu Chi to discover the vast tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. Learn about the war from the Vietnamese perspective and see authentic war relics that remain on-site.

Return to city center by speed boat. Dinner before transfer to train station for the night train to Nha Trang. Overnight on the train. 

Arrive to Nha Trang early in the morning, transfer to hotel for breakfast and refreshment before starting you journey admiring this beautiful east coastline. 

First stops at Ponaga temple dated back in the 8th century, Xombong bridge with photogenic fishing fleet, Long Son pagoda with the huge statute of Buddha.

Continue to the habour for a boat trip to Bamboo island for lunch and relax on the beach.

Visit then Tri Nguyen aquarium and snorkel at Tam island. Enjoy local basket boat and explore the life of fishermen at Mieu fishing village. 

Transfer back to your hotel and overnight in Nha Trang. 

Free time to relax by the beach or for your personal exploration.

Depart for Phu Yen. On the way, stop to visit Mui Dien lighthouse, hiking by steps of the mountain to the peak to see the East pole – where welcome the first dawn of Vietnam. From the peak of the mountain, you will be amazed by the beauty of Vung Ro bay when overview from the top

Follow then the Nhan Mountain, a historically significant spot for the Cham people, where boasts interesting architecture and pleasing surroundings; Bao Lam Pagoda and Mang Lang Church - one of the oldest church in Vietnam, still keep its Gothic architecture in every detail. Continue to visit Da Dia cliffs - an amazing natural creature that formed from volcanic rock.

Transfer to hotel and free time to relax by the beach. Overnight in Phu Yen. 

Road for Quy Nhon, passing by the amazing coast of Bai Xep. 

Quy Nhon is in Binh Dinh province with the highest number of Champa-era ruins. The Champa are the indigenous people who settled in large parts of Vietnam and Cambodia and used Quy Nhon as a port from the 11th to the 15th century.

Upon arrival, visit impressive Twins Champa towers in the heart of the city.  

Free time to enjoy the beach or sunbathing. 

Overnight in hotel at Quy Nhon. 

After breakfast, start the journey further north to the countryside of Quy Nhon to find Banh It Tower, another Champa tower perched on a hill. The trip will take you through verdant rice paddies, over small rivers, and finally towards the small hill with the tower. Climb up to visit it and get a sweeping view of the coast, fields, and hills in the background.

Continue to Quang Trung museum which was built in 1978, dedicating to the national hero and the leader of the Tay Son uprising at the end the 18th century. You can get the opportunity to watch the demonstrations of Vo Binh Dinh, a traditional martial art performed with bamboo sticks. 

Lunch at Ham Ho and spend sometimes to enjoy the peaceful and spectacular view. The place is a section stretching over three kilometers with green and limpid water surrounded by mighty mountains. 

Transfer back to hotel and free time for your relaxation. 

Free day to enjoy Ky Co beach. This remote, secluded place has a wonderful beach and crystal-clear waters which are so inviting you almost have to go for a swim.

Leave Quy Nhon for Hoi An, lunch on the way. 

Arrival to Hoi An in the afternoon and overnight hotel. Free time in the evening for your personal discovery. 

Meet up with your local guide and transfer to Cua Dai harbor for an excursion to Cham Island. 

Cham islands are consist of seven islands altogether named according to their shape or characteristics: Lao (pear), Dai (long), La (leaf), Kho (dry), Tai (ear), Mo (tomb) and Nom (East Wind). They have good climate, cool the year round, trees and animals as well as marine life are plentiful here.

Upon arrival in the island, visit to the traditional fishing village and the local market, walk along the rice field to the over-100-years-old temple of Hai Tang, then back to boat for snorkeling at Xep beach and discover the beautiful “forest” of corals under the sea.

Lunch and relax at Chong beach. Around 02:00 PM, embark and back to Cua Dai harbor and transfer to hotel.

Free time to discover the town at your own pace. 

Free time to enjoy the beach or sunbathing.  

Transfer to Da Nang airport for the flight to Hanoi. 

Upon arrival to Hanoi, explore Hanoi Old Quarter on foot. You will be passing through a maze of small alleys where you can find all the things that you never knew that you need. Try some special coffee from the sidewalk café and you might catch along the way a glimpse of the old-styled houses – the evidence of the glorious days of the busiest, most prosperous trading area of Vietnam. Visit Ma May Ancient House - one of the attractive places to visit in Hanoi Old Quarter, the old house is a traditional type of house that recreates the living space, the characteristic of ancient Hanoian. 

Final stops at Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple (Temple of Jade Mountain) are the classic bits of Hanoi tourism. Located just next to the Old Quarter, the lake brings a fresh breath to the busy and crowded streets.

Transfer back to hotel and overnight at hotel in Hanoi. 

Lying adjacent to Halong Bay's southern border, Lan Ha Bay is home to Cat Ba Island and covers over 7,000 hectares, most of which is under the management of Cat Ba National Park. Some 400 karst islands dot Lan Ha Bay, giving it the same scenic profile as its neighbour, with the added attraction of well over 100 secluded beaches and yet less touristy. 

After lunch, enjoy some free time to admire the scenic and landscape of limestone. Kayaking to explore the hidden caves, swimming at untouched beaches in Lan Ha bay. 

Overnight on board the bay. 

Wake up early for a morning exercise and take a short excursion to Cat Ba Biosphere Reserve. 

Ride the bicycle through the forest to Viet Hai village and admire the beautiful view of the lagoon, the lush forests and the endless rice fields on both sides of the road. Afterwards, you can explore the poetic streets or old houses right in the village.

Time for swimming and relax on the deck to watch the sun set on the bay. 

Overnight on board.

Welcome the energetic new day with Vietnamese Martial Class – Vovinam (or Taichi) activity on the deck and watch the sunrise.

After breakfast, transfer to Cat Ba island and explore Hoa Cuong Cave – the wonderful stalagmite cave.

11:00 – 11:30: End of the trip. You leave the yacht to cano to return to the waiting house in Tuan Chau and return to Hanoi.

Brunch will be served on board. Disembark the cruise and return to Ha Noi. 

Free at leisure for last souvenir shopping until time to transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
