Vietnamese traditional long dress displayed on mural painting street

The programme, themed ‘The colours of fall in Ha Noi’, was part of activities to mark the 65th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954-2019).

The collections depicted the beauty of Vietnamese traditional costume, featuring the image of a charming and subtle Ha Noi.

Visitors also had the chance to join various interesting activities such as makeup, hairstlying and taking photos with Ao Dai designs.

The show was expected to help young designers be more confident in their ability to continue upholding traditional values in their products.

A wide variety of activities will also be held today in the Ha Noi Old Quarter area to celebrate the major event of the capital city, including a street dance with Ao Dai and an exhibition themed ‘Hoai niem’ (Nostalgia) by Le Bich at Kim Ngan temple.
