Delve into Vietnam’s ancient traditions with this captivating 4-day, 3-night tour of Hue and Hoi An. Rediscover the deep cultural roots of these two iconic cities:

Hue: Embark on a dragon boat cruise on the Perfume River, explore Thien Mu Pagoda and the Tomb of King Tu Duc, and take part in a paper flower-making workshop in Thanh Tien Village.

Hoi An: Visit the World Heritage-listed Old Quarter, learn about traditional pottery in Thanh Ha and carpentry in Kim Bong, and enjoy immersive experiences such as a bamboo round boat ride and a Vietnamese cooking class.

This journey invites you to live an authentic experience, through the craft and cultural traditions that have shaped Vietnam.

Itinerary

Welcome by the local guide at the hotel, start the day with a dragon boat ride on the Perfume River. Stop at Thien Mu Pagoda, home to the tallest octagonal tower in Vietnam.

Continue to visit the tomb of King Tu Duc, built between 1864 and 1867, located in a pine forest with frangipani trees. Stop at the Thuy Xuan incense exhibition stands where colorful incense is made and the very attractive traditional Non La models are presented. Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon, a workshop for creating paper lotus flowers in Thanh Tien village, with a discovery of traditions and the creation of beautiful handicrafts. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

Welcome by the local guide at the hotel, transfer to the Imperial City to discover the world heritage listed by UNESCO. Lunch in a local restaurant.

Bike ride in the village of Sinh, place of origin of the ancient folk paintings of Hue. A painting workshop at a local craftsman, discovery of the history and culture of the craft village. Dinner in a local restaurant. Night at the hotel.

07:00 am, welcome by the local guide at the hotel, departure for Hoi An. Arrival in Hoi An, visit the charming little town with its old city and its fabulous treasures classified as UNESCO world heritage: the Japanese bridge, the old house, a Chinese congregation... Lunch in a local restaurant.

Continuation of the visit by boat to the Thanh Ha pottery village and the Kim Bong carpentry village, listening to the history of the village, visiting the shipyards, admiring the crafts and artisanal sculpture. Dinner in a local restaurant. Night at the hotel.

Experience a round bamboo boat on the river and a boat dance show with mastery by local people. Then, the bike ride to Tra Que, a charming little village on the edge of Hoi An to discover the local life. Opportunity to learn how to prepare traditional dishes from Central Vietnam during a cooking class.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Participation in a lantern-making workshop, discovery of traditional crafts and remarkable products of the people of Hoi An. Dinner at a local restaurant. The guide takes you to the hotel, end of the trip. See you soon.
