Whether you want to come here to explore more of its rich cultural heritage, or simply to bask in one of their many beaches and nightly parties, Thailand has easily become one of our favorite countries in Southeast Asia. After both traveling and living in Thailand, we’ve put together this epic travel guide, highlighting the best of what you can see and do in Thailand.
Day 1 :
Bangkok
Arrival at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Meet up with your guide and start the journey to visit the capital of Thailand with Wat Trimitr (Golden Buddha), Wat Po (Reclining Budda).
After lunch, take the klongs tour on long-tail boat along the canals. This is the best way to get a taste of Bangkok’s past. On the west side of the river in Thonburi you can get glimpses of what Bangkok was like before the skyscrapers and six-lane expressways. Many people still live on or around the canals so there is plenty to see: traders crisscrossing the water on small boats packed with fruit and drinks, beautifully renovated traditional teak houses, the whole experience made even more enjoyable by the tranquil atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle on the opposite side of the Chao Phraya River.
Continue to visit Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) - with its impressive and majestic prang, 86 meters high and covered with ceramics from China. Transfer to hotel and overnight in Bangkok.
Day 2 :
Bangkok
Breakfast at hotel. Early morning drive to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. En route, stop at a Coconut’s flowers sugar making center. Continue to the pier and embark in long tail boats to reach the heart of the floating market. Free time for personal discovery the culture of local floating market.
Return back to Bangkok. Continue to visit the famous Grand Palace before transfering to hotel. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 3 :
Bangkok -
Ayuthaya -
Bangkok
Breakfast at hotel. Leave Bangkok for Ayutthaya - the Siamese Capital. Visit Wat Yai Chai Mongkol and Wat Chaiwattanaram. Continue to visit Bang Pa In Summer Palace and explore its beautiful architecture.
Transfer to Wat Chong Lom Pier in Nontaburi Province to take cruise back to Bangkok. Buffet lunch on board. On the way back pass the Royal Grand Palace and Wat Arun.
Arrive at the River City Complex Pier and transfer you back to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 :
Bangkok
Breakfast at hotel. Leave your hotel for visit Safari World including Safari Park and Marine Park. Free time to explore the park and enjoy buffet lunch here.
In the after noon, transfer back to your hotel.
When the night falls, leave your hotel for dinner cruise on Chao Phraya River. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 5 :
Bangkok -
Pattaya
After breakfast at hotel, head the road about 150km toward southeast from Bangkok to Pattaya. Located on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand, Pattaya is always switched on and brimming with life from sunrise to sunset. This vibrant coastal city shot to fame since early 1980s.
Transfer to your hotel in Pattaya. Check-in and free day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6 :
Pattaya
Breakfast at hotel. Free day to enjoy the beach and sun or personal discovery.
In the afternoon, you can enjoy the Alcazar Show - a great opportunity to experience a lady-boy cabaret performance with great music and dance; or Kaan Show - the show will invite you into the world of imagination inspired by classic Thai literature. It’ll bring the breathtaking theatrical performance of some of Thailand's most famous literary stories such as the stories from Ramayana, Prince Apai Mani, Krai Thong… A thrilling world of Thai folklore and mythology will open its doors to you all.
