Addressing the event, Chairman of Ha Giang provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Son said that the local authorities have attached great attention to tourism development in order to realise its target of welcoming 1.5 million visitors by 2020.
Taking place until October 13, the event introduces to visitors to specialties, folk games, and traditional crafts of 19 ethnic groups living in 11 districts in Ha Giang.
Visitors are also updated on major activities to be held at the upcoming Tam Giac Mach (Buckwheat Flower) Festival in the province.
There is also an exhibition of 100 photos highlighting the land, cultural beauty, traditional customs of ethnic people in Ha Giang.
On the occasion, the provincial People’s Committee in coordination with the Bellsystem 24 - Hoa sao Joint Stock Company launched a telephone switchboard 19001046, which provides consultations and advices for tourists to Ha Giang so that they will have comfortable and wonderful experiences during their stay in the province.
