In particular, favoured by nature, Dalat has great resources to develop tourism. With a height of 1500 meters above sea level, the weather in Da Lat is cool and an ideal retreat in the south of Viet Nam. With its cool climate, beautiful landscapes, dreamy forest and waterfall pool along with year round blooming flowers, Da Lat has long become a place gold on Vietnam tourism map. It is an important highlight of this trip, giving you a different perspective when exploring the Central Highlands region of Vietnam
Depart Ho Chi Minh for Da Lat – the Southern Central Highland, the famous region for its French architectures, European temperature region dotted with lakes, waterfalls and industrial plants: coffee and tea. After driving couple of hours passing through rubber plantations and La Nga river with floating houses breeding fish underneath, stop at Pongour waterfall, the largest one in Dalat area.
Continue to visit Truc Lam monastery, located on a mountaintop, immersed in natural beauty. The monastery has great views of Tuyen Lam Lake and the surrounding highlands.
Arrive in Da Lat, check in hotel. Overnight in Da Lat.
After breakfast, start full day visiting the most romantic city in Vietnam with a vintage wooden train ride to Trai Mat to visit Linh Phuoc pagoda with every surface of which is covered in stunning mosaics.
Continue to visit Thien Vuong Co Sat pagoda, also called Chinese pagoda, it is famous for its three sandal-wood statues of Buddhist
Following with Bao Dai summer palace, Domain De Marie monastery, Da Lat Cathedral and Da Lat garden.
In the evening, spend your free time to enjoy the breezing atmosphere of Da Lat while walking around the city center, visit night market and try some grilled foods and warm milk from the street vendors
Overnight in Da Lat.
After the breakfast at hotel, depart for Buon Ma Thuot, on the way, stop at Lat village with an enormous cement statue of a chicken at the entry of the town, that’s why the village is also called “Chicken village”. This is where live the Co Ho minority people.
On arrival at Buon Ma Thuot, start a visit the Jun village - an ethnic group of the M'nongs who in the past were famous for their brave and experience in hunting wild elephants. Nowaday, coming to this village, you can take short exciting ride on elephant’s back around Lak lake and cross the lake with a dug-out canoe to admire the beautiful landscape surrounding.
Transfer and installation at hotel. Overnight at hotel in Buon Ma Thuot.
In the morning, visit a coffee plantation and explore the process of how coffee beans are made into the products that we used. Buon Ma Thuot is the capital of coffee in Viet Nam, it’s famous for the excellent in quality and numerous of coffee types. You will have a chance to taste this special coffee from production place.
Transfer to Pleiku. Visit Pleiphun and Pleikep villages of Jarai people and get to know their customs and traditions. In the middle of the village is a high communal house where people often gather for important event and festival of the village, continue to visit Minh Thanh pagoda and admire its unique architect and beauty.
Overnight at hotel in Pleiku.
Depart for Kontum in the morning, on the way stop at Bien Ho also known locally as T’Nung and Ea Nueng or translate as “Sea Lake”. You’ll understand why it’s called by that name when you glimpse the 230 hectares of pine-fringed waters. The lake is the oval-shaped crater of a volcano that went extinct millions of years ago and is now still related to many legends that make it more mysterious.
Visit then the village Konklo of the Banah and drop into the community “Rong house” and the seminary of Kontum, wooden church, Orphanic Vinh Son, Konkor bridge.
Dinner and overnight in Kontum.
Spend the morning strolling around Hoi An ancient town to visit Phuoc Kien pagoda, Tan Ky old house, Japanese Covered bridge…
In the afternoon, take a bicycle ride to Cam Thanh village, meet local fishermen and experience the daily life with take a bamboo basket boat on the Cam Thanh water coconut forest, join local fisherman on the river and enjoy hands-on experience of round net and cast net fishing. Learn to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat and join in a basket boat race, catch the crabs.
Ride back to hotel and overnight in Hoi An.
Morning departure to Phuoc Tich ancient village. This beautiful village has surrounding by the water and greenery with lots of traditional ancient houses.
You will visit Cay Thi Temple about 700 years old, the temps retains harmonizing aspects of Vietnamese and Cham architecture, with linga and yoni relics. Continue to stroll along the village and discover the garden houses, some of which dated between 100 and 200 years old, local people have the well preservation as to astonish cultural anthropologists, architects and historians. Follow with a pottery kiln and a private museum of ancient pottery items.
Road back to the city center for lunch and visit An Dinh Palace - one of the classic structures of Hue imperial city, commissioned by the Nguyen Emperor Khai Dinh, Vietnam’s second last emperor, in the early twentieth century. Final destination of the day is his unique designed royal tomb in the countryside, located 10kms from Hue. Where other royal tombs are expansive and invite respectful reflection, Khai Dinh built his final resting place to be monumental in style and bombastic in execution.
Transfer to airport late in the afternoon for flight direction to Ha Noi.
Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and at leisure to explore Hanoi at night.
Hanoi is an attractive city partly due to its architectural works. The mingling between ancient oriental architectural designs and French architecture has created Hanoi ’s own architectural space, both ancient and modern, which will exist forever in time.
Start your journey visiting the capital of Vietnam with Thang Long citadel, the Temple of Literature, Hoa Lo prison memorial, the St. Joseph’s Cathedral, the Ngoc Son temple and The Huc bridge.
Free time in the evening for your discovery.
Morning departure to Ninh Binh, which also known as “Ha Long Bay on land”. Take a traditional boat trip into the middle of green paddy fields and rocky peaks to enjoy the natural scene at Thung Nang.
Thung Nang - Sunshine Valley offer visitors a peaceful and delightful feeling, when immersed into immense pristine green lake and quiet natural scenery.
On board the boat and glide through the sun cave to sacred Thoong Temple where local people worship the Lord. Continue to Voi temple which is built of stone, carved elaborately, meticulous by the hands of the Le Dynasty and worshiping Ly Dong Hai. You will have the opportunity to better understand the history and culture of this dynasty.
Each valleys in Thung Nang can be connected to each other by the cave system through in the mountains. When the boat take you from one valley to another, the scenery opens in front of you seem to be more beautiful, more charming, the days with light wind, you will hear the flute reverts from the muddy reeds…
Back to Ha Noi at the end of the day, transfer to hotel.
