After breakfast, take a bicycle ride to visit Sukhothai - the site of the first independent Thai Kingdom. In the afternoon, visit Wat Phra That Lampang Luang - one of the most spectacular Wats in Thailand, located at a small hill around 20km from Lampang town. It dates back to 1486 and is believed to be one of the oldest wooden buildings in Thailand.
Continue to Chiang Rai. Overnight in Chiang Rai
Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive to explore the archeological remains of the ancient town Chiang Saen, It is also known as the very first kingdom in Thailand and was also the capital for the kingdom until 13th. The city situated on the banks of the Mekong River.
After lunch, proceed to the world-renowned Golden Triangle where the borders of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet at the confluence of the mighty Mekong River. Continue to Chiang Mai and visit Wat Rong Khun – is a unique temple that stands out through the white color and the use of pieces of glass in the plaster, sparkling in the sun.
Upon arrival at Chiang Mai. Visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Lunch along the way. Continuation to visit small town of Pai, stop at the local market. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
